Hyatt Place DC

The Hyatt Place Washington, D.C. was developed on a previously undeveloped infill site, uniquely constrained by adjacent buildings on three of its four sides. The project required careful planning and coordination to maximize the site’s potential while delivering a full-service hotel that meets brand standards and enhances the urban fabric of its neighborhood.

The hotel’s design balances efficiency with guest comfort, incorporating thoughtful layouts for guestrooms, public spaces, and amenities within a tight footprint. Special attention was given to circulation, natural light, and building systems to ensure the property performs effectively despite its challenging context.

The result is a modern, context-sensitive hotel that strengthens the surrounding streetscape while providing guests with a welcoming and functional urban retreat.
