Burj Khalifa Tower Park
At the base of the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, a series of six distinct water features were designed and built as part of Tower Park, the landscaped public realm surrounding the tower. Each installation was conceived to respond directly to the diverse activities and pedestrian flows around the site, demonstrating the many ways water can animate and enrich an urban environment.
The collection of features includes:
-
Reflecting pools that extend the tower’s dramatic vertical presence into a calm, mirrored surface at ground level.
-
A children’s play feature, introducing interactivity and family-oriented engagement within the park.
-
A vertical water tower, serving as a connective element between the plaza and the drop-off area below.
-
A welcoming fountain at the main entrance, creating a grand sense of arrival for visitors.
-
Two signature features at the tower’s office and retail entrances, each tailored to frame and enhance the respective entry experiences.
The result is a cohesive yet diverse suite of water features that demonstrate the versatility of water as both an artistic and functional element in one of the world’s most celebrated architectural settings.
